2. Story times require caregiver participation. Please put away your electronic devices and participate with your child. You child will be more engaged if you are participating.
3. Conversations are distracting. Please chat with friends after the program.
4. If your child becomes disruptive or unhappy, please remove them from the room and try again when they are calm.

Enjoy reading your favorite books while earning prizes!
Stop by the Youth Services desk to pick up "A Universe of Stories" Summer Reading Log
For every 30 minutes that you read, mark a circle. After 10 circles are marked, bring it back to the Youth Services desk for a prize and an entry form for the grand prize drawing.
Hours are due back by July 31, and the grand prize drawing will be on August 1.
Reading with the Rays, presented by Suncoast Credit Union, is back!
How to play:
The rules of the game are simple. Choose your favorite books from your local library or your favorite section of the Tampa Bay Times to read over the summer. As you read, track your hours by rounding the bases and collect Rays prizes along the way.
When you read enough hours to get on first base, ask your parent or guardian to initial your card and bring it to your local library. The librarian will sign your card and give you a reading reward.
Round the bases by reading a total of 24 hours this summer and receive two tickets to a Rays game!
For more information, visit: https://www.mlb.com/rays/community/reading
You may use hours from your library summer reading log as the same hours for Reading with the Rays.
